I love young creatives and offering them challenges just one step beyond their current ability. Watching them push beyond their boundaries and ultimately elevating their own capabilities is the most satisfying reward a mentor can hope for.
Fung has been an avid art educator for over two decades; her students range from toddlers to professional adults. She articulates her thoughts clearly and is able to explain abstract concepts. She reads and writes English, Mandarin and Cantonese fluently.
She has lectured at many international universities and festivals such as European University Cyprus (Cyprus), Pro Arts Gallery (U.S.A.), the Montreal International Animation Festival (Canada), University of Victoria (Canada), University of British Columbia (Canada), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education and Hong Kong Public Libraries. In 2016, she toured and spoke about her works to eight communities in Southeast Alaska.
